Cat Street is a 1-kilometer promenade that connects Shibuya and Harajuku.
It was named Cat Street because there used to be stray cats here,
but now there are no cats here at all.
It was created by filling in the Shibuya River, so it's characterized by its narrow, winding roads. It's a street lined with many fashion-related shops.
Takeshita street is about 350 meters long and gently descends from the Takeshita Exit of JR Harajuku Station toward Meiji-dori.
It is a pedestrian zone and is crowded with many people. There are many shops selling reasonably priced fancy stuffs such as earring and ring for young people.
As you like :)

I recently had the pleasure of taking a walking tour of Yokohama with Mai as my guide, and it was an excellent experience. Mai was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating throughout the tour. She offered helpful insights on what to do and frequently checked in with me about which routes to take, ensuring I had the best experience possible. Mai also provided fantastic recommendations for places to visit after the tour, which added even more value to my time in Yokohama. The tour itself was very relaxing, and I especially enjoyed sampling some delicious pastries along the way. Additionally, I got to enjoy some amazing Chinese food from Chinatown, which was a delightful part of the tour. Overall, Mai's expertise and friendly demeanor made this tour a memorable highlight of my trip. Highly recommended!
Thank you so much! I'm really impressed with your specific and positive review. It reminds me of all the places we visited and all the fun we had together. Despite the unusual heat for this time of year, I am glad that you enjoyed the long walks during the tour, which allowed me to introduce various aspects of Yokohama. Have fun your rest stay in Japan! ありがとう!
I am very happy choosing Mai as our guide in Yokohama and Harajuku/Omotesando. From the beginning, it was very easy to communicate with Mai about things to accomplish and places to visit during the tour. She recommended some sites and gave feedback regarding the route and the best day for the tour by taking into accounts traffic, for both vehicles and people. She is also a good photographer. During the tour, she was always helpful but unintrusive. We got the buy the Sugi Bee honey that my boys love, sneakers that are sold only for Japanese market for my youngest son and on top of that, snacked on amazing local gyozas. All in all, amazing trip. We will definitely contact Mai again whenever we are in Tokyo area. Arigatou gozaimasu Mai.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. It was amazing day for me as well, and was my greatest pleasure to share time with your lovely family. I am so glad that you all enjoyed the time and that I was able to assist in some way in making this a memorable family vacation. Let's definitely meet again and explore such as Odaiba and other places you haven't been yet! Thank you again, またね、Matane! (See you soon!)
Had a wonderful introductory tour with Mai. Helped us with train and food reservations.
Thank you so much for booking my tour. You and your family are all so friendly and it was so much fun spending time together! I'm glad I could help you purchase your Shinkansen ticket, and I hope you enjoyed your stay in Kyoto :) See you again someday!
Mai is a very flexible guide. When you come to tokyo I recommend her.
Thank you so much for booking my tour. Due to bad weather, unfortunately we had to change the itinerary on the day. However, there are many sights in Tokyo that can be enjoyed even in the rain! I’m glad that you were satisfied with the tour. Thank you again, keep in touch!
