It was our first family trip to Nagoya. We were traveling with a nine-year-old girl. We visited many cities in Japan. This time, we mainly hired a local tour guide to help our girl appreciate Japanese culture and history. Ms. Yumi was very friendly and thoughtful. She built rapport with our family quickly. She was accommodating and tailormade a bespoke day tour experience for us, particularly for our girl who loves crafts. We had a great time learning about Japanese culture and the history of Aichi prefecture from her. Thank you, Yumi, for creating a memorable experience for us.
Thank you Maggie for the highest praise. It was a really hot day that day, but I had a great time enjoying Nagoya's culture and food with you all. It was a great experience to be asked so many questions by those of you who had done your research on Japanese history beforehand. The craft store was fun! Please come to Nagoya again if you have the chance.
Yumi was fantastic! Not only was she reliable and always on time, but her knowledge of the area was impressive. She explained everything in an easy-to-understand way, which made the tour enjoyable for everyone. Thank you, Yumi!
Thank you Laura for your very good review. I am so glad I had the opportunity to show your guests around. If you have any guests coming to Nagoya again, I would greatly appreciate it if you would contact me. Thank you very much!
We (2 adults) spent a day with Yumi in Nagoya area, visiting Nagoya castle, JR Maglev museum, Atsuta Shrine and a dinner at a local restaurant. Yumi is a knowledgeable and friendly person, speaking very good English and we had great time. I am only sorry for allocating only one day for the area. If it is your first time to Nagoya, you will need at least 2-3 days to visit the places we did as well as other attractions and a trip to Takayama and Shirakawa go.
Thank you very much for your kind review for me. I had a really great time with you both. It was very nice to have Kishimen noodle and Sukiyaki dinner together. Talking with you was a big fun for me. You are travel lover, so please come back to Japan and bring other family with you. Arigato, Gal-san !
We had an especially excellent guided tour with Yumi today. She is extremely knowledgeable....her English is very understandable....she was punctual....Yumi is warm, welcoming, kind and a pleasure to spend time with. Prior to our trip we had many texts back and forth. Yumi provided very valuable information which greatly enhanced our time in Nagoya. We spent the morning touring Inuyama Castle and the afternoon at Meiji-mura. A perfect itinerary based on our preferences. Yumi’s tour is flexible to your interests. In between Yumi suggested a lovely Soba restaurant which was wonderfully enjoyable. Nagoya is a city which has much to offer to tourists. There is no better way to see the city then Yumi’s professional hands!!
Dear Anita & Marty, thank you very much for such a worm and gentle review for me. You might be tired after a long day trip, but wrote a polite comment within a day! I am really appreciated. We had a wonderful weather and could enjoyed Inuyama and Meijimura. Thank you for a meal, that Soba was really good. I am pretty happy to know that my messages helped you and we had a very good time together. It was interesting for me to talk about our family or your travel stories. Your grandchild's pictures and movies warmed my heart! You two love to travel, so please stop at Nagoya someday. Take care and enjoy the rest of your trip!
